Who we are
We are a small, but engaged, troop that averages 8 - 10 active Scouts at any given time. Most of our Scouts enter in 6th Grade and work hard to achieve Eagle during their time with the troop.
The troop is supported by committed adult volunteers, who are passionate about helping each Scout achieve their best. Lawyers, Educators, Medical Professionals, Engineers, Marketers, and Construction Executives are ready to advise on any topic!
Our Philosophy
Inside each Scout is a leader, ready to learn, develop, and practice their skills. It is the job of the troop (youth and adults) to help them become there best…so that they may be a leader within his family, workplace, church, or community. As such, we utilize the following operating principles:
Leadership – We operate as a scout-led troop.
(With adult guidance)
Mentorship – Our troop consists of an integrated patrol. (Younger are Scouts mixed with older Scouts to allow for a teaching/learning dynamic).
Learning - Outdoor activities provide a great laboratory! When you learn through adventure, you learn for life!
Service – We view community service as a critical component of our civic duty.
